Join Machias Adventures for one or both of a series of classes designed to introduce you to the joy of river canoeing whether you are a beginner or simply want to hone your skills. Each day-long class begins with instruction on the proper outfitting of the boats, paddling gear and safety equipment appropriate for each skill level. Then it’s onto the water for a journey down the river to try out new skills and discuss the culture, natural history and ecology of the area.
