Payment in full is expected at time of booking.
Minimum number of four participants required for trip to occur.
All trips are rain or shine, unless there are dangerous weather conditions determined at the sole discretion of Machias Adventures.
Reservations can be transferred to another person, but not for another date.
Machias Adventures reserves the right to change locations for its canoe trips depending on water levels.
Machias Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason including insufficient signup or logistical problems, which will impede the trip operations.
Refunds:
Full refund will be given for trips cancelled by Machias Adventures.
Following percentages apply to participant notice of cancellation:
- 21 day notice, full refund less 25% administration fee.
- 20-14 day notice, 75% refund.
- 13-8 day notice, 50% refund
- Under 7 days, no refund unless spot can be filled
