Moab - Detailed Itinerary November 18 - November 24, 2001 Machia Adventures in Moab, Utah “Vibrant red rock formations are Southeast Utah’s famed element, but there are also acres of broad, rolling sandstone dunes that are salmon, orange, creams and every variation in between.” Add the Colorado River, Arches National Park, and accommodations at one of the most beautiful ranches in the US to the mix and you have a truly unforgettable vacation. Day One: Fly into Grand Junction and take the 11/2 hour drive through some of the most magnificent and unusual scenery in the country. We will have our first meal together followed by an orientation. Day Two: Relax while rafting down the mighty Colorado River for the day. We will have rapids, wildlife, great food and we will have a left the familiar behind. Day Three: We will drive over to Arches National Park and hike up to Delicate Arch. If you have never been to Arches National Park, you have missed something, and to experience Delicate Arch makes the visit to Arches complete. Day Four: Moab is known to be the mountain biking capital of the world. Any trip to this area would not be complete without biking. We will plan the difficulty of the ride based on the group’s capability. Day Five: Relax, perhaps take a ride on a horse, take a ride into Moab, fish in one of the mountain streams or just sit in a chair and watch the River and look for Falcons. This evening we will share our Thanksgiving dinner and watch the sunset at Dead Horse State Park. Wait until you see that view! Day Six: Flexible, perhaps another day on the river, another bike ride, the options are endless. Day Seven: Drive back to the airport for our flights home. Price is $1,450.00 per person based on double occupancy. Single supplement is available for $1,950.00. Price is all inclusive from Grand Junction, CO Airport.
